If you wander deep into the Peruvian Andes amidst the breathtaking scenery, you’ll find lush coffee farms where people grow the organic Arabica bean for this gourmet coffee.

1998 saw a particularly bad El Nino storm hit this region, which destroyed huge swathes of farmland. The harvest was hard hit, so, they worked together to gather what they could. Once the coffee was shipped, they turned their attention to essential rebuilding, reconstruction and replanting. It’s an investment programme that helped the area and the growers to recover as quickly as possible.
