WE OFFER A FIXED CHARGE OF £3.75 FOR STANDARD DELIVERY* OF UK ORDERS OF LESS THAN £35.00.
WE OFFER FREE STANDARD DELIVERY FOR UK ORDERS OVER £35.00.

*STANDARD DELIVERY IS 7 - 10 DAYS.  IF YOU REQUIRE FASTER, PRIORITY DELIVERY (2 - 4 DAYS), HIGHER CHARGES WILL APPLY.

We deliver only to UK addresses.  We usually use Royal Mail services for orders of up to 2 kilos.  Courier services are usually employed for orders of of 2+ kilos, and sometimes for orders of 1 to 2 kilos.  We do however reserve the right to employ Royal Mail or couriers as we deem appropriate.

DELIVERY CHARGES ARE PER DELIVERY PER SITE.  There will be an additional charge for requested split or special deliveries.  N.B. If you find a discrepancy between what it says here and what the site purports to charge you, do please let us know.  We will be embarrassed - but not offended!

 Deliveries to The Isle of Man and to the Channel  Islands ("the Islands") weighing less than 2 kilos, including packaging etc, can be sent by Royal Mail at UK rates.  However, Royal Mail UK rates over 2 kilos are uneconomic for us, which is why we would usually send UK orders over that weight by courier.  Courier rates to the Islands are however very much higher than to the mainland.   Hence we cannot offer our UK rates on orders to the Islands unless the package weighs less than 2 kilos.  If you are intending to order from the Isle of Man or from the Channel Islands, and you are not sure if the total weight of your order including packaging etc will be 2 kilos or more, please contact us first to find which delivery charge will apply to your order.

DESPATCH AND DELIVERY

On placing an order, you will receive an automatic email acknowledgement stating that your order will be despatched within the usual timescales for your selected delivery option (see below), unless we inform you otherwise.  We may have so informed you by a message on the web-site, or we may send you an email, or call you if you have given us a telephone number.

If an item is out of stock, you should receive a message telling you this.  We will only substitute products with your agreement.

You have the option of an immediate full refund at any time before despatch.  After despatch, you can still have a full refund if you return the unopened products to us at your expense.

DELIVERY OPTIONS

NOTES - All references below to "days" are to working days.  Orders placed after 5pm are regarded as placed on the following working day.  So, in a normal working week, orders placed after 5pm on a Friday should be regarded as having been placed on the following Monday. Please allow extra time for Bank Holidays, in December generally, and at other popular "gift-giving" times like Mothers' Day, Fathers' Day, Valentines, Easter etc.

STANDARD DELIVERY - If you specify STANDARD DELIVERY we will usually use 2nd Class/Parcel Post.  It is likely to get to you about one week after you place your order.  However, 1 in 10 parcel post items take Royal Mail 5 days or more to deliver after despatch by us.  So, if you go for the STANDARD DELIVERY option, please do bear in mind that it could be over a week from the time you place your order to your receipt of it, even where the items are in stock. 
PRIORITY DELIVERY - If you specify PRIORITY DELIVERY we will always use 1st Class post/courier.  Therefore, you should usually (but see "Notes" above) receive your order 2 to 4 days after you place the order.

POINTS OF INFORMATION APPLICABLE TO ALL DELIVERY OPTIONS

MISSING PARCELS:  Sometimes, when we are contacted by customers to say their order has not arrived, it transpires that the Royal Mail have attempted delivery, but have failed to leave a card at the delivery address to say so.  The item then sits in the local sorting office unknown to everyone concerned.  So if you have waited longer than the periods referred to above, it is perhaps worth checking with your local sorting office before contacting us.

GIFT PACKS:  Please note that gift packs can take extra time on the above timetables, especially before national "gift-giving" occasions such as Mothers'/Fathers' Days, Valentines' etc, but particularly in December where it can take over a week from order to despatch.  Best to get your order in early at these times.  We will let you know personally if there is a problem with achieving a Christmas delivery or other particular delivery date and you always have the option of a full refund before we have despatched.
